Funky cabinet

This wall cabinet was designed for a Schiedam based real estate agency as a piece in the showroom. Creating room for promotional material and storage for small material.

In the design process we were looking to place the compartments in an original and playful way, finding balance between function and overall aesthetic. 

It was chosen to use black MDF (fiberboard), so that with transparent varnish the cabinet would obtain a solid and matt black appearance without needing a paint job. Small doors from wood panels create four closed compartments.
